Meet I.D. Kapur

I.D. Kapur majored in journalism and is a speech writer and prize-winning poet whose work is featured in Stories for a Rainy Day, The Smalls, and Persimmon Tree. Her poetry and stories were chosen for The Best of The Best: 2024 Literary Review, Vision and VerseInk Spots, and One Universe to the Left.

 

She began traveling at 17 to Europe and has visited over twenty countries. A year’s stay in Northern India and over a dozen extended visits inspired her to write short stories based on her experiences. Her latest book, A Year Without Men, was published in November 2023. She lives in Northern California with her author husband, where they manage their Kapur Scholarship Program Light One Candle for under-served students in Patiala, Punjab.
